*1-1/2 yards of a striped border fabric -
(should have at least (2) identical 8-1/2 inch
stripes available)
*1-1/3 yard backing fabric -
depending on how you cut top stripe,
may have enough for backing
*1-1/3 yard flannel or lightweight batting

Suggested 60-degree ; triangle ruler -
not required, can be made with standard ruler
(but it's way easier with the triangle ruler)
